    If it's an Optiplex SF270, GX240, GX260, GX280 or similar, then my money is on the capacitors around the CPU on the motherboard. A simple fix for a good engineer.

    Didn't read the whole thread, didn't really have time :o

    Then the capacitors I mentioned won't be the issue, probably the PSU then.
