have a commercial property fitted with a u16 gas meter and also an electric meter.

property is being changed to 4 flats so therefore require 4 different gas and electric pay as you go meters...

currently whole building running on 1 meter... n power for electric.. and southern electric for gas.

question is will gas and elctric company fit meters for free or do i have to buy meters and connection... bit confused as recieved very different advice from everyone...

please if anyone knows for sure how this works. let me know..

Do you have a project manager or architect you can ask? They should have all the gen you need to get the utility supplies to the places they need to be in the flats.

The first port of call after them if they cant sort it is to contact the network operators (these will not neccisaraly be the suppliers you currently have).
