Salesperson swore at me!

Have just had a call from a salesman, I think it was Stevenson something, and as he launcehd into his pitch, I told him that I wasn't interested and that they shouldnt call on a bank hol........he called me a f***ing stupid cow!! Anyone any idea what company it could be that is Stevenson something??

Did he mention what it was about at all? Then you could google something like Stevenson Double Glazing or something. That is shocking though.

Hope you find who this is.

Wonder if your phone provider will be of any help (with tracking down witheld numbers)?, not sure if charges would be involved though.

I remember back a few years ago, this organisation rang us up to ask if we require any help with debt, at the time we were fine and told them no, this female rang back within minutes and her language was absolutely disgusting!!

Can't remember what company it was but I know they charge for helping out with debt.

something similar happened to my brother he remembered the company name and took ages to find the number through the internet the girl who had abused him got the sack !!!

t is an offence to use obusive language, you may feel threatened by the experience. I am sure they can trace the caller if so inclined, then the call centre, who shopuld have recordings of all calls.

Count it as a success!!! Really, he got nothing out of you, and hopefully his kids will go hungry tonight, because you did not feel sorry for him or waste your time on his sales pitch. It shows that cold calling is so far down market it nearly is not worth the effort - firstly, whatever it is no one wants it - secondly, because it is such hard work to find anyone interested, most normal people would not do it as a job or would not admit to it if they did do it, so it is going to be less and less able people who do it. Rejoice!

And it is another thing to say when you get cold called: "Sorry, I am hanging up before you swear at me"

Whats so shameful that he goes to work - allbeit, in a job you don't feel is very good, instead of claiming lots of benefit? This topic is about his disgusting attitude not how low people who work outbound are. Must be nice to be in a perfect job
