they may have been right to correct, my point is that the way they went about it was unacceptable.

i wouldnt worry about it, spelling isnt that important to most people,
im sure no-one who read your request thought you were looking for somwhere to stand still for a while

its very disappointing when people have nothing better to do than correct other people spelling,this isn`t an english exam its a forum,those who think otherwise really should get a life.

as for free paper and pens,can`t help,but you can get cheap at asda and other supermarkets and £1 shops etc.

Welcome to the "Lets have a go at any poor sod that comes here" site. The rules are; don't make a spelling mistake, don't have an opinion, beg permission off one of the mob that think only they have a right to post. This goes for all forums.
It seems many do not read Martin's guidelines about being nice to people, some it seems don't even know who Martin is.

Have to admit it did feel a bit like I shouldn't be posting! On the stationERY front, I went to Asda and found a pack of 10 pens for 26p! Bargain! Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Recruitment/career fairs are great for free pens, pencils and notepaper. Some of the best pens I've ever had came from a company at a recruitment fair or a freshers fair.
