Any tips for selling a bed?

A friend would like to sell her bed on ebay. It cost £1500 new and is still in v good condition after 6 years. She's looking to get about £300 for it.

So, any advise you can offer? Also, pick up seems the easiest option, but I know that will severely limit the market. Apparently it's relatively small when put back into its flat pack condition...any couriers you can recommend that would transport at a decent cost?

Also, as paypal will take a chunk of the money, do you think not offering paypal will deter buyers on this amount of money?

i flogged a double buggy recently for a profit on ebay on pick up only. i thought it wouldnt go but at the last minute it got a starting bid of what i was willing to take on it.

cash on collection. everyones a winner.
