ID on Fungus and Plant
Hi Everyone, can anyone help by identifying this fungus which is growing in my veg patch. I have no idea what it is or what to do with it. Tried digging it up a few times but it keeps returning.

Also I have this flower growing throughout my garden and have no idea what it is. It comes up every year and I've seen it in other colours throughout my town.

Sorry you will have to add dots between www and flickr as I am a new user and cannot post links.
Thanks

Flower is columbine - Aquilegia. Fungus picture is hard to tell - need a closer shoot. Wouldn't worry about it though. You can't just dig it up - the fungus is in the soil and this is just the fruiting body.

Well, I never knew aquiligia was columbine - always thought of columbine as a yellow creeping thing for some reason, despite having a garden full.
Thank you grahawk, that is my new gardening fact of the week.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
