Waving here too ! From a wet Wakefield truck stop. Trying my best to occupy myself with something other than getting out of my truck and wandering over to the cafe and getting a full English, or even just a Bacon sarnie. Not much really , and it wouldn't cost much .... growing weaker now , hallucinating , seeing plump ladies in grease-stained aprons .... help me Bob !

Sorry i wasn't there in your hour of need Pepsi- hope you resisted those hot, steamy ladies in aprons:D:rotfl: Offering you all those tasty tidbits:eek::rotfl:

  • Bleurrghh day today. Feel full of lurgy, but have managed to stay awake thanks to copious amounts of tea.

Had a visit from my mum today- she generously gave DD2 £100 to help towards Uni costs:D:T Aren't we lucky:D I am so chuffed at that, and it is a bit of a relief given restraints on finances this month.

Not a lot else to report except made minimums off the Credit cards-i keep getting excited at the prospect of being able to pay off things. I am also looking forward to the new term and seeing what challenges it will bring- More of which i will say later when i have details.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Bob x

I had a full english yesterday a couple of hours before going for chemo...lol

How lovely for your DD to get £100 for her uni fund and hope you feel better tomorrow
  • Its been a miserable day today.

Student loans debacle rages on- not going to say to much, just that they live up to their reputation :(

Spent the day trying to sort the house out and cleaned down before starting work. So with cream cleaner in hand( thanks to Mrs R's tips) I scrubbed the bathroom to within an inch of its life, washed the shower curtain etc.
    Rehung the curtain before tea.

Picked Mr.B up from the train station-he has tea and yes guess what- he uses the bathroom, has a shower and has left a mess. I suppose it sounds churlish, but i was looking forward to having a shower in the clean and lovely shiny bathroom. I have now decided he is completely in my bad books. :(

So there you have it- i have the total hump.
