in Credit cards
My work situation is fairly unique in that I work for 3 different companies, am on each of their payrolls seperately and have worked for them for different lengths of time.
Now I stopped working for Company A back in April. I had been working for them for 5 years and stated my combined salary from all companies as my salary on all applications.
Soon will be my first application for credit since I stopped working for Company A. I still work for 3 companies, but now I'm going to have to put Company B down - who I have worked for longer - since 1997 in fact.
My concern is that companies may cross reference with other applications and think these are fraudulant applications. Is this likely to happen? Last thing I want is a note on my credit reports about fraud.

There will not be a problem, they do not usually contact your employer, and you are not commiting fraud ,your application is legitimate, regarding cross referance ,people change jobs, but your situation is that you have worked for
this company since 1997,apply and explain if questioned, but I fully understand your concern ,there is no definitive answer, but I am sure that the systems are not that sophisticated, and what you are stating is true, sometimes we worry to much.To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -
Its possible that a fraud detection service like Experian Detect or MCL Hunter would flag this as a application inconsistency. I wouldn't worry too much though - income and emloyment changes regularly so is unlikely to be a problem. The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.0
