Can't connect iPhone to Zyxel router

Wonder if anyone can help. I've just installed a Zyxel P-660HW wireless router and have set up a wireless network.

Now, my laptop, netbook, PS3 and GF's Blackberry have all connected to it without a problem. However, my iPhone just won't connect! When I type in the WEP key it tells me its unable to connect, can anyone suggest why this might be? I know the key is correct because its worked on all the other devices.

Maybe the iPhone doesn't support WEP? You should set the wireless encryption to WPA/WPA2 anyway as WEP is unsecure and can be cracked within minutes.

I would if I could but the router doesn't support WPA, only WEP

How old is this router? Maybe there is a firmware update available. if not, maybe it's time for a new (more) secure router.

Just found an interesting article via Google.

The iPhone wants the key in HEX format, not ASCII.

The 660HW does support WPA, its just not obvious. User guide is available on the Zyxel site (https://www.zyxel.co.uk) if you can not find your disc and Wireless LAN setup is normally around section 6.
