Ideas for £5000 to £10000 monthly savings

I might have got a contract which will give me a "spare" £5k to £10k a month and I'm looking for a home for it.
I won't have much time for active management on my part except for running a few CFDs but I'd like to get as much of a return as possible.
I see some 1 year fixed rates around 3.25% but that is before tax. I can ship the funds offshore no problem if needed. I can put them in the name of a non UK tax payer as well, or a company. Regular savings vehicles don't cater for these amounts.
If I invested in assets and prices were poor when I needed the cash then that would not be too bad as I could hedge some of that risk away in the preceding months and I will not be under much pressure to sell out even at that time.
Open to ideas really. Happy to assume some risk and happy to pay for some professional advice a month or two down the line but perhaps I'm looking for some esoteric but liquid investments or some higher yielding funds. My feeling is that there is more to be gained over the next year or perhaps two in corporate debt than in the corporates themselves.
Looking for some ideas to think about.
