    Thanks for posting it.

Doesn't look very good though. For example no monitor and worse still it's a 2400 demension. If you look down you can get a dell 3000 with a monitor for about the same amount.

Plus it doesn't include a modem or speakers and only comes with a CD drive rather than a CD/RW or DVD.
There are better Dell offers out there than this one I think. The D02302a one looks slightly better - comes with a faster processor, 512Mb memory, 15" TFT screen and 80Gb HDD, but no speakers or modem and only a CD drive all for £328.
However, I'm still hoping I get the pricing mistake one which they pulled off the website today.;)
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • Just ordered a D02302a. Comes with 512Mb memory, 80Gb HDD and currently has free upgrade to 17" TFT all for £328 inc VAT and Del

It has no speakers (£10 for cheap ones) or a modem (£10 again) and only a CD drive (will replace with a 16x DVD RW for £40) and a slow processor but for less than £330 I don't expect a super gaming experience!!

Dells look pretty good too compared with some cheap onces!

    No it's not. :)

The other one below £200 comes with a CDRW, speakers a 17 inch monitor and a modem.

    Look down.

    Oh, yes it is.

The other offer you refer to "below" was already reported yesterday as having been taken down from Dell's website.

This offer was posted while the other offer was available, so for me at the time "yes it is". ;) Although thank you for making me aware that this offer has ended, the point is the poster didn't even know that the offer existed.
  • i cant find a computer for £300 where is it? you got a link?

    thanks

How does that work then ?

"NickA" on the OTHER Dell offer thread posted at 10.46 AM yesterday MORNING that THAT offer had gone.

"sablade" started THIS thread at 5.52 PM yesterday EVENING.

Also, how do you KNOW that sablade "didn't even know that the [other Dell] offer existed " ? As far as I can see, all was factually correct at the time it was posted by him/her.
