Paramotor-Public Liability/Personal Insurance

Hi, husband has just bought a new toy, which is a paramotor. He has been given a number from a friend for personal accident insurance, but we would like to find some other companies to compare prices. We haven't even really started looking, but are thinking that mainstream insurances (Co-op, Tesco etc) wouldn't insure him... does anyone know of any specialist companies?
Many thanks in advance

1st step is to join the British Hanglinding and Paragliding Association - http://www.bhpa.co.uk There he will get all the training and advice he needs including insurance. One strong tip is to make sure that existing life insurance isn't going to be invalidated if he gets killed while flying. Most existing insurance should be OK if you take up flying after the policy was taken out, but he will certainly have a problem with any new insurance policy. There are some specialist insurers that you can find in the classified sections of magazines like Today's Pilot or Flyer.
b.t.w. A paramotor isn't a toy. As an experienced, but now non-flying pilot I can tell you that you'd never get me up in one of them. They strike me as being extremely dangerous, but then again I'm thinking about taking up autogyros (going flying in one at the weekend) so my assessment of danger is not necessarily to be trusted!
