Hi, we are getting a new puppy in the next few weeks and I am thinking of making our own "bespoke" puppy play pen. The ones you can buy online are only 25" high and he would be able to jump out of it within a few weeks. We have quite a large kitchen were he will be staying when we are out but we want a play pen to put in the kitchen to stop him chewing the units and table. Inside the playpen he will have his crate and an area for toileting...
Anyway the question is does anyone know where I can buy somekind of chainlink fencing about 1.5m high? have looked at BnQ but no luck apart from some heavy duty stuff that is around £50
many thanks

chicken wire fencing is cheap enough. about 10 quid a roll. if you need higher than 600cm, then use two layers.
a simple wooden frame and the jobs done.Get some gorm.0 -
thanks for the advice
bought all the gear today and have made the wooden frame and stappled the mesh to it (went for a square hole type mesh from wickes) Only dilema now is what type of hinges to get. I was hoping for a type of hinge that can just slot one panel into the next so I am free to use it in different areas (different total size e.g garden or kitchen) but after asking at the DIY shop there doesnt seem to be this kind of hinge available. I dont really want something that is permanently screwed on as we will be only using the pen when we are out and want it stored away the rest of the time.
Any ideas?
thanks0
