hi all
Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather

Does anyone know how hard it would be to remove the rear seats on a Ford Mondeo saloon? (the model where the boot isn't connected to the rear

I haven't really looked, but would it be bolted via bolts or is it fixed so you can't remove them?

Just a few bolts I would expect, they won't be part of the bodywork. They may be attached by Torx bits rather than simple bolts.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking too.

The front seats were simple to remove, 4 standard bolts and out they came

Reason I ask is there leather seats and I'd like to keep them to sometime fit in my new Mondeo.

Anyone have any ideals where I should be looking for these bolts/Torx bits?
On the side - surely they wouldn't have them under the fabric?

The base of the rear seat will pull up and reveal a few torx screws which are easy enough to get at. The back of the rear seat will be a bit trickier.

Very strange thing though, the rear seat base doesn't pull up on the one I want to put it in, it will fit as measured it but doesn't pull up as it's a saloon and has no reason too

If you own a Mondeo, get yourself over to the Mondeo Enthusiats Group at http://www.fordmondeo.org/forum/fusionbb.php?

There's a wealth of information and also a good Wiki for all variants.

Just force it up. It will have 4 U shaped latches - 2 at the front and 2 at the rear.
