Looks like he has translated the description from Russian to English with babelfish. Is there a goose on the makers stamp?
Is anyone mad enough to pay £60 for that piece of tat?

    Heavens, where to start.

I do sell a few china items and I have never seen such damage described as 'in excellent condition' is the seller mad or something? The normal way to describe minor damage is to say that plate is in a fair condition but shows signs of wear especially at edge where there are two small grazes (something like that). However that would not be sufficient for damage like that as it has materially damaged the value of the item, that is major damage .

Can't the seller sort out his scale, it won't show on my screen as it is all over the place and I don't like the 'my partner in US accepts paypal' statement.

Also, the feedback is scary as are the stars, any buyer would have to be daft to bid on that.

I do like the way he says the size is a BIG 40cm - metric's obviously gone variable.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • good idea to add a youtube video, havnt seen that before

i can see the benefits on some items, e.g. products that need to seen working etc. not a plate though lol

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
You all appear to be ridiculing this listing but you have just found a gem.:T The Kuznetcov pottery has many a desired artist and this glaze technique is very sought after in the pottery world. The lack of crazing it has is excellent, even the chips are acceptable. The glaze formation ensures a blend with the clay the plate is made with and its pfeffercorn rating, the engobing is also well done, this is very rare...the artist would be very collectable, even at the time it was made.approx 1910..........

oh sorry i cant keep this up...i work in pottery industry and just had to tease you all......its tat!!!:rotfl::D

Corr yeah, how about you collect me ten random ones and I'll pay you £23 including shipping? Or is that a bit low?
