in Techie Stuff
HI all
Does anyone know how to split a PDF document?
I have a document of my own certificates that someone has scanned in for me.
I need to split this one document into a number of other documents to be attached to an online application. They also need to be rotated but I think I can manage this once they are split .
I hope Ive described my problem? As you might have noticed im not very techie at all
Thanks in advance

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Just a thought but one way of doing this is to set up a PDF printer like CutePDF Writer which I use (it's free). To use this you need to download Ghostscript as well which is also on the page I linked to.
What this does is set up a "printer" in Windows called Cute PDF. Just go to the page you want, click Print (you can choose to print current page instead of the whole document), choose the Cute PDF printer instead of your normal printer, and it will make a new PDF file of that page. As it installs as a printer it works with any Windows applications like Word etc.
Other than that I think there are freeware PDF editors available (PDFedit is one I think), but I'm not sure how easy to use and set up it's going to be for non techies.0 -

Yes that's the idea, it makes PDF's. Say you had a PDF with 10 pages in it, and you just wanted to extract page 9. You navigate to page 9 in Acrobat Reader, choose print, select "current page only" in page range, and it will create a new PDF of just page 9. It's not the most elegant solution, especially if you have a large document which you need to split, but it should work. Otherwise hopefully the alternative splitter software will do the job.0
