Dvd-ram

I have some DVD-RAM disks which I need to be able play on other DVD players other than the one that created them. From the manual I understand that I cannot play these disks on other players as I cannot finalise them (unlike DVD-R).

Is there any way I can get round this so I can either watch these disks on my PC or other player or at least recover the disk info onto my PC?

The disks were originally created on a Panasonic DMR-E50.

if your pc dvd supports dvd-ram for reading you should be able to retrieve the stuff off the ram disk and put it on a -r disk.

The disks are not recognised by either PC I use. I was wondering if there was a software solution?

no if the media isn't compatable with the hardware then software wont make a difference.
you can pick up a ram compatable drive for about 30 quid.
