Named Driver and No Claims Bonus

Are there any companies that take in to account the driving experience of a person who has been a named driver and accident free for several years when starting their own first policy?

I'm sure there was one advertised on TV a few years ago.

The one that I recalled was Directline, but one must be a current named driver on their insurance to qualify, not from another company.

As above, ask the company thats covered you named first. One thing to remember though, after a year, you'll still only have 1 years NCB to take to another insurer.

Named driver is the son (me).

I guess I just have to bite the bullet on my first year's policy £1900.
