DMP advice

Good afternoon, have finally come to the conclusion that following the loss of my job a year ago which resulted in me only being able to find part time and temporary jobs since that I can no longer manage my debts.
I intend to approach the CCS and have credit cards totalling approx £20000 to which I can only contribute about £280 monthly.
My main creditors are Barclaycard and AA finance - am I likely to encounter trouble from my debtors and what is the likelyhood of them freezing interest ?
Thanks

Good luck with your DMP Minty. I have been really pleased with CCCS I did everything online and it was very smooth.

No rythmn nor reason as to why some play ball and the others dont I'm afraid, perhaps its to stop anyone playing the system

Why don't you come over to the DMP support boards, very helpful, we can keep each other company there

Sadly as mentioned there is no rule for how your creditors react and if they will agree to freeze your interest or not... They might agree for a while and then start charging again... however you stand a bigger chance of getting them to accept your DMP and freeze interest if you go through one of the debt charities as they know this way you are dealing with things and they will eventually get their money...
    Best of luck :)
