vibrating washing machine

hello hope someone can help, we have a Hotpoint washing machine and since we have had it has vibrated like mad we do live in a first floor flat and we have floating flooring which I know wont help but we have recently had renovations to the flat and have had 6mm ply put down an the floor and still this problem persists, I have tried carpet, solid wood under washer and still no joy we have had technician out 5-6 times and straight away they say floor, is there anything else I can try to minimize the vibration I have heard of some pads you can buy but will this solve the problem. I would be great full if someone can help me with some suggestions and if anyone else has experienced this and found solution then please come forward thank you.

Oh by the way I have removed all the transit bolts just incase anyone wondered lol.

It sounds like the feet at the base need to be adjusted to level the machine. If they are uneven, it causes vibrations. You turn the screw knobs individually until the machine is level.

    Check the concrete block !

Hanging under the drum there will be a large weight, usually concrete. These sometimes come loose or even break in half. See if the nuts holding this onto the bars from which it hangs are tight.

i have literally just checked this about 5 minutes ago although this was checked by technicians, to be honest the washer has had all checks done on it and they keep saying its the floor, although my last washer had faulty bearings and still wasnt this bad go figure?

We bought some anti-vibration pads to go under the washing machine and they helped a lot. I don't know where we got ours from but they are very similar to these

I know you've called out repairers, but bearings are the usual problem. You can check by putting your hand inside the (empty!) drum and see if it can be lifted a little. Any movement is likely to be bearing fault.
Are any of the suspension springs dislodged?

to be honest i have looked at what i can eg suspension and felt the drum and to me all seems ok im no expert though. all these check have already been done though by 5 different engineers so i can only take there word for it, to be honest it is most likely a combenation of the floor and a poorly built washer.

you could maybe try a square of flotex type flooring under the feet of the machine, it's got a rubberized backing and grippy surface, you could get a wee off cut from a local carpet shop.

If the floor is not fixed securely to the joists underneath you will get the machine jumping around!!
    Of course I’m no expert.
