Googlemail.com chronically slow, gmail any faster?

Options
Since googlemail.com email addresses have been available to change to gmail.com, my googlemail account has been soooooooo slow. Takes about half a minute to load when I go into each email. If I change to the gmail will it be any faster or is the whole system just bogged down at the moment - have had this for the last few days.

Thanks for any insight anyone can lend.

AFAIK Gmail is a short form of Google mail, they one and same.

I use google mail and have no problem, maybe you have to check your PC and BB speed.

There's no logical reason why it would make any difference. Also, the change happened almost a month ago, and if you've only had the problem for a few days it matches up.

My account is fine. Saying that, there have been times when certain addresses are not working and others are. But that's only ever been for a few hours top.

I would check your computer and connection first.

I imagine there is no difference between googlemail and gmail accounts at all. That said my gmail account works perfectly well using a netbook on mobile broadband so I think you must have something badly wrong with your PC and/or connection unless there is. My money is on your PC/connection.

Try turning off some of the useless features on Googlamail, like chat & buzz,I also have an issue with non responsive scripts both with Googlemail & Facebook but not very often since I turned buzz & chat off.
