report m.o.t. tester

Options
i recently decided to report a benefit cheat, the guy i reported works as an m.o.t. tester, and i know he is willing to pass cars that should fail, if thay are friends cars.

he was cought out once before, his friend sold a car 2 days after m.o.t.ing it, and the new owner found a large hole in the sill, he reported this and the ministry visited this guy and warned him, but this hasn't stopped him, and he's still doing dodgy m.o.t.'s.

would you report him? and how do you contact the m.o.t. people to report this?

How do you know he is in receipt of state benefits?
How do you know he is not entitled to what the state gives him (if he is actually getting benefits)?
Did you see the vehicle that allegedly passed with a hole in the sill?
    Are you a tester/AE yourself?

But not for long, and if you were his friend but have the concience you say you have, you would have the bottle to tell him that you would report him if he carried on. :A:A:A, not just stab him in the back.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Firstly, not all sills are structural. If the car has a full length chassis, the sill has no structural bearing and one with a hole in would pass an MOT as long as the bodywork wasn't dangerous and that can be sorted by simply putting some gaffa tape over it.

Secondly, you report dodgy MOTers to VOSA however VOSA carry out their own spot checks so would probably catch him out anyway BUT chances are that if he does hooky MOTs its for people he personally knows.

I think that was what the OP said in the 1st post. Claiming benefits when working. stealing from the taxpayer.

Giving cars that may be dangerous on the roads MoT's, endangering other roadusers.

However, the cars he is passing may be a minor fail, wipers bulbs etc which the owner will correct.

Anyway, how good a friend that you would report him. I wouldn't do it to be spiteful.
