Redress for duff goods bought on eBay

In Apr I bought a Microwave from an ebay supplier - obviosly its gone duff & I require it replacing - emails to the seller fall on dead ears, the manufacturer maintains that it is not their responsibility.

Any ideas as to how I get the situation resolved much appreciated

I honestly can't think of any redress you have. Was it sold with any sort of warranty from a registered trader on ebay?

    Have to agree with Soo.

That's the chance buying on e-Bay I'm afraid unless there was a mention of a warranty/guarantee on the listing when you bought it.
