replacing panel with glass on an external pvc door?

I was looking to get a new back door but my FIL has told me that the panel in my pvc door (which is just plain pvc all over, no glass panels etc in it) can be taken out and to buy new panel inserts with glass and get them put in.

Does anyone have any idea if this is really possible, or mainly where to get the glass panels? As I have looked on internet and can't find anywhere that just does a panel to insert, its always the full door.

I live in Falkirk in Scotland just for extra info for distances to places,

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks

Your FIL is correct. Contact a local glaziers. they wil come out, measure up make and install the DG units. Will be cheaper than a DG installation company.
