Options
Hi all

Does anyone know if egg have started charging a bt fee for anniversary offers for existing customers or is it just new ones? If so what % is it and is it capped?

Thanks

  • Unfortunately, yes they have.

There was confusion when it came in as their customer services people were giving out conflicting information. However, they seem to have settled into it now. I got stung for it in May (as an existing Egg card customer since 2001).

It's 2.5% and it is UNCAPPED  - the horror!

Everything turns out all right in the end. If it's not all right, it's not the end.

What's even more horrifying is the fact they treat the fee as a purchase and charge interest on it.
