Can't create a Blackberry User Account

I have an unlocked Orange Blackberry 8820, and an O2 Blackberry sim only contract. I can't register on o2email.co.uk it tells me to register with the blackberry browser. There is no internet access other than through applications for Facebook & MSN.
I guess it is to do with the fact that it is an Orange phone & O2 contract, from what I have read on the internet it needs to be removed from the Orange server but this is a company phone which we shouldn't really have.
I am not very technically minded and wondered if the above was correct and if there is any way round it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

If it is a company phone it would probably be configured for a BES. What you will need is the unlock code form Orange to unlock it and then you can update it with the BIS software and register it with O20

You'd also been the Blackberry pin releasing, only the registered owner can do that.0
