Does anyone know what sort of prices they pay?do they half what you put?0

They usually use an Argos catalogue or similar. We used to have a cheap bed supplier in the area and the JCP would usually use this firm's prices as a guide. That's not to say you have to accept what they might award. Each case must be decided on it's own merits so for instance someone might need an orthopaedic mattress but the JCP award for any old cheapo bed then it wouldn't be reasonable so the claimant should then ask for a review.I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0

Hi, she used argos the cheapest prices. She put electric cooker, delivery and fitting at £225. Washer, delivery and fitting £220. Living room carpet and fitting £70. Double bed, mattress and delivery £135. Bedding for double and single and cot £40. Pan set £12. I dont know if the prices will seem fair to them or they wont class them as being needed items. Alot of other people on the internet have said you have to apply for double as they half it but it would seem a little odd to apply for over £400 for a cooker. I dont have a clue how they work it out or if they will even award her oneThey usually use an Argos catalogue or similar.
