Tesco online shopping site improved?

Went to check out the price of passatta at Tesco and saw that they've "improved" the site.

Improved? Took me ages to find passatta. Looked in the *tins and packets* section. Decided that passatta would be in the *tinned tomatoes and vegetables* section that was in the drop down box.

Saw 7 pages in alphabetical order of all tinned veg, starting with Batchelors stuff.

Couldn't be @rsed going through all the pages, so did a search.
Passatta is in the *tinned tomatoes* section. But there wasn't a *tinned tomatoes* section!
Oh, yes there was. If you notice the advanced search option and click on the triangle that then gives you a drop down box.

Silly me! I've only been online for about 13 years and found the previous incarnation of the Tesco grocery shopping site very easy to get around. Now?
Well, it puts me off.

Have you e-mailed them to let them know? I would have thought that if enough people let them know that they are having trouble, they might look into changing it.

Why wouldn't you just type passata anyway, seems your going the long way round. I personally prefer the new site, its more up to date and calculates mulitbuys!

Mine only changed last week but I know others have had the new site for longer. I like how it shows the discounts in the basket like it used to years ago, however I found it awful at checkout. The substitution section takes longer and the notes dont appear to save so had no idea if the picker could see them or not. On that basis it would put me off ordering certain items now.

Lol a Tesco employee would say that

I've always found it frustrating that you can't sort the item pages by PRICE, why is this so hard to offer to customers, the way Tesco has layed it out makes it more confusing and it takes longer to compare the prices!

I think all new accounts still use the old layout, as I've made a new account recently and multibuys were not calculated on there!

I grew weary of the new Tesco layout.

I know, it's so ironic really, they try to make out they are so cheap but hide their deals away!
