How much should my bills be?
Hello
We've just joined Eon and they have sent us a bill through, but it is wrong as they have used estimated readings. Here are the readings they should be:
Electricity
39301 on 5 April
39927 today
Gas
2905 on 5 April
2949 today
Can anyone work out for me what the bills should be as I haven't a clue.
Thanks, Sam

It's impossible for anyone to give you an answer because you haven't indicated the particular Eon tariff you are on...0

It says this on my bill but they have got the wrong meter readings (estimated)Normal secondary units used 19 kWh at 10.05p each
Electric: Normal primary units used 72 kWh at 20.02p each
Gas : primary units used 308 kWh at 6.214p each 19.14Gas secondary units used 825 kWh at 3.008p each

Just call them with proper meter readings and get re-billed. Then it'd be sorted and you wont have to worry or guesstimate etc.0

You have used 626 Kwh of electricity at say 15p/unit that's around £93.
Gas is more tricky.
You have used 44 gas units, if your meter is imperial (100sCuft) then that represents 1320 Kwh at say 4p/kwh thats £53.
If the gas meter was metric (M3) then it wopuld be 484 Kwh so around £20
Hope this helps. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
You have used 626kWh electricity which is approx £70
You have used 44 gas units which is approx 493kWh if you have a metric gas meter(measures in cubic metres) or 1400kWh if you have the older Imperial meter(measures in cubic feet) so approx £25 or £52 - probably the latter.0 -
Hi Sam
jrrowleyws is spot on. Let us know your latest meter readings. We will be happy to re-bill your account and give you an accurate balance whilst you are on the phone.
As well as the tariff, there are other variables which make working out an accurate bill from the info posted very difficult.
Things like, the region you are in, type of gas meter, payment method etc.
If you prefer, drop an email to the address in my Profile. I would be happy to do this for you.
