BT Calls + Broadband £17.28

Hi
Called up BT to find out exactly when present contract ends. I mentioned was thinking of going to SKY for Broadband (already have TV) and was offered the following:
> Line Rental
> Evening + weekend Calls
> BT Broadband Option 1
= £17.28 per month
I think it breaks down as £9.79 line rental + Broadband at £7.49 and to activate on my renewal date. Also getting a new Hub even though I said that existing one is working great and can you not just give me a phone or an account credit.
My average download usage is only 3.5GB so any better deals out there?
