I have DDs set up for all my cc, paying minimum.
I paid £400 extra to Barclaycard, and £150 extra to HSBC this month.
Will my DDs still be taken later this month ?

It can vary from one provider to another and also on the length of time between your payment and the date of the DD.I have DDs set up for all my cc, paying minimum.

as the above poster states, it varies from lender to lender, some cancel the direct debit payments, others carry on,
when i used to have the dd for minimum only (all now set to full balence unless its a 0% card) i would make additional payments either the day the dd was taken or just after if i wanted both payments to be taken. that way it hasnt stopped the dd's on any of themMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
I have a HSBC Mastercard and I made an overpayment on the 27 May and the dd came out on 1 June so as others have said it will depend on the dd date in relation to the overpayment date.0
