Which car?
Moved a little while ago to Italy and am trying to start up my own business over here I need two cars one must be a 4x4 as in the winter do a lot of driving in the mountains and must be good in the snow the other car I would like to be a cabrilet to take advantage of the summer sun. Neither can be expensive(no more than 6000 Euro each) and reliability is important. Also insurance over here is pretty steep so am considering cars over 20 years old which carry insurance premiums of ten or so times lower than younger models. Not looking for long term motors as while get something newer as soon as the business is turning a profit. Thanks for your help.

Defender sounds good but might struggle to get a two seater past the wife. Should have mentioned need a four seater cabriolet, thanks anyway.0

If you really want a 4x4 over 20 years old consider Toyota Landcruiser 70 series, about the only thing reliable enough imo, and they are still making them...if it aint broke etc.0
