It looped for me in Firefox also - I tried logging in with chrome and that did work eventually

I registered, then when i'd done that I clicked off the page and went through the link in the OP and it took me straight to the comp.

There may be problems with this as the Times Group has just gone over to a pay per week web site model.There are having a free trial for a few weeks.I've signed up ok as I'm a Times+ member so get it free.I'm not sure when the payment kicks in for the site for others.
I did have to register again the main site after having Times online registration for ages.0
