they havve stopped doing double up now, since they started giving double points in store. I agree do clubcard deals and have a meal or day out on mr T

So do you think I should:-
A. Chuck the vouchers away and forget I ever had any.
B. Spend them anyway.
C. Something else.
What would you do? Every opinion welcome.
My answer: C. something else..
Sell them on ebay - you should get more than the face value by those collecting large numbers for a specific deal0 -

Ooooh a non-conformist! I like your style! :T:rotfl::D"I, on the other hand, am a fully rounded human being with a degree from the university of life, a diploma from the school of hard knocks, and three gold stars from the kindergarten of getting the sh*t kicked out of me." ~ Capt. E. Blackadder0 -

You'll have difficulty 'doubling-up' as I recall it ended last September.
I seriously doubt that Tesco will notice your 'boycott' - the lack of use of your card could be for many other reasons.
Because the 'valid until' date on the voucher will be for two years hence, you don't have to use it now, but later when your 'dispute' is settled.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
If your boycotting Tesco then you also wont need your card. Offer them to a friend or family member as if they want to shop at Tesco its their choice.
Otherwise make it clear to their customer service department that you are VERY unhappy about whats going on and have contacted the BBC Watchdog, MSE and anyone else you can think of, see if you get any sort of a resolution, if you do it may feel acceptable to go back and shop at Tesco and the vouchers may come in useful.
Lidl, Aldi and even some of the stuff in Sainsburys can easily compete with Tescos prices, but the £9? if its a matter of going without food for a few days, sell the vouchers, use the cash elsewhere, food is an ugent need and its not worth the stress of going without for days on end.0 -
Thank you everyone for the input. I have decided to sell them on eBay because after a bit of research they are coming in at more than thier face value.
So say I get £12 for them well £12 at Lidl is a lot better for my budget than £9 at Tesco. I looked long and hard at the deals but everything fell into categories I don't need as much as I need to pay my debts off, or things that were going to cost more than £9, or I did find one essential item (breakdown cover) but I'm fully breakdown covered for months yet. So selling seems to be the way to go.
Thank you all for your input.Sarsie

Ebay you should at least get double the value, be careful lots scammers out there, send them recorded delivery make sure u state any left over on the deal will be credited back to u and any wrong order or change mind is the fault of the buyer --- only let peeps with some feedback/buying history bid for them - ha ha that may put u off nowSIMPLES!0

If you do not shop there for a while, they will just send you some money off vouchers. The type that say Spend £50 and get £5 off.
This is probably automated by the computer and not really monitored by any human intervention.
I know this because I rotate my Tesco cards (we have 5) and leave some dormant occaisionally so that it triggers offers. We also live near a Morrisons in the next town and I know that this has triggered MOC's in the past as one of the SA's in Tesco said they had a lot of people coming in with them and ask if we lived near the Morrisons store that had just opened.
If you snub Tesco, you could potentially miss out on good deals/glitches and only you would suffer. Mr T won't care, he makes millions (if not billions in profit).
Don't create a loss for yourself by limiting your shopping opportunities. Report them to your local Trading Standards if you feel they are in the wrong. Trading Standards are very helpful and will let you know where you stand legally and would be interested to hear your case.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -

He made 3.4 billion last year, so he won't notice one customer boycotting him.
If Sarsie goes back to shopping at Tesco's she loses self respect, and that is worth more than Mr T's profits. Also, there are good deals and glitches available in other supermarkets, so she won't be missing out on much.0
