can i buy whilst on cccs plan?

Hi everyone,
just a quick one today, me and dh is not getting on to well and have spaoken about going our sepaerate ways. Question to you all is that both of us is on a cccs plan and have been since febuary of this year if we were to sell would i be able to get a mortgage for another house or would i have to go to the council to be rehoused?

Hi there,
my brother in law had been on a dmp with CCCS some time ago and this prevented him from securing a decent mortgage deal. He did manage to get a mortgage but his credit rating was certainly affected by his DMP.0
