Thanks, Argos and John Lewis out of stock but got one from Dixons - hope the Mrs will be well chuffed with this.0

Are these much better than a iron?
It looks quite large thing where do people store it when ironing as it doesn't look like it can fit a ironing board
Tempting to get this for OH0 -

In my opinion - definitely YES.
If you weren't too fussy on some fabrics you can just iron one side.
The pressing/ironing side of things is dead easy and very effective.
You spend the bulk of your time laying out the clothes before ironing to make sure you don't put a crease into them.
Makes it very quick and worth the money IMO.0 -
Its gone up to £89.99 in Argos now
Should have ordered yesterday.

Good point - the storage of it. I have reserved one for collection but I realise I have nowhere to store it. Got too much clutter as it isBargainGalore wrote: »Are these much better than a iron?

I bought one of these. Set it up, switched it on.......no steam, not even a puff!! I phoned the helpline and the guy told me " Oh that's a fault with that model, there's a new model out, I've got one, it's great". Took it back to argos, swapped it for the bush one. It's not as nice to look at and not pointy enough at the end for doing collars and stuff, but better than a normal iron.0

sorry to hear you have a duff one, but I have to say I am very pleased with mine. As for storage, it isn't really a great deal bulkier than a standard iron.0
