When does the 12 months 0% begin?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for appearing dim but I am a credit card newbie. We have a GE Money Transformation card which we got last month and would like to know does the 12 months 0% begin from the date of your 1st purchase?, from the date the card is issued?, Is it 12 months 0% for every purchase and then you get charged the interest once the 12 months is up on each purchase?

No idea! Please help,

Try ringing GE to ask, they will be able to tell you the correct answer for your card straight away without all of us guessing! But if you want a guess, it's most likely to be 12 months from the date you opened your account. It definitely won't be 12 months for each purchase though.

Pretty sure its from when the account is opened, which is pretty poor from our point of view as they can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to get your card out to you and activated, etc...

Does GE allow xfer to Bank Account, if so what is xfer Fee and Cap.

Do they issue Cheques, if so what is Fee and Cap for it's use
