Leave them on so that pollination can take place, they'll fall off when they're ready1 of my tom plants is like a runt of the litter should i replace it as it is in my grow bag and i could do with putting another much bigger one in it`s place?
If you need the space and have a larger spare to replace it with then go for it but I suspect that the original one will probably catch up eventually if you want to leave it inhow do i plant sweetcorn spacing, support,i take it they`ll take all the sun they can get ?,can i put them in a grow bag?
18" apart, in blocks rather than single rows - they are wind pollinated and this helps with that.
I personally wouldn't put them in a grow bag as they get very tall, and are very hungry plants - but if that's all you've got then give it a go, and place the growbags in a block
Some varieties don't flower, some are ready at flowering, some are ready once the foliage has died down. Best to have a little rummage about 12 weeks after planting if it's a first early or second early variety, and longer if maincrop. My potatoes are yet to flower though enormous! do i dig up when flowers died back?

Buy another tomato plant to replace your runt, but don't waste it. Snip off the main stalk about four inches from the top, put it in water for a few days and it should start developing new roots. Then plant it somewhere else and you'll have an extra plant. The cutting will look very droopy for a few days but keep it out of bright sunshine and give it time to recover.
I always leave all my courgette/squash flowers on. The male ones will die off naturally.
I wouldn't plant your sweetcorn in growbags unless you absolutely can't find a sunny spot in your soil in which to plant them as they grow up to 6 feet tall and will get blown over by the wind. Plant in blocks so that they're all close together (10 inches apart) so that they can pollinate each other. This is closer than Yorkie has recommended but I am short of growing space and as my vegetable patch is well manured, the plants still grow OK at this spacing.
Wait until all the flowers have died and the foilage is dying back on your potatoes and then you can start digging them up.0 -
