didn't think it would be so difficult to get the CD's sales guy said you could pick them up for about £50. My mistake should have go the CD cost first. Thanks for pointing out the obvious

Fair point I didn't mean it like that .. happy to pay for a 2nd hand CD set to save money.
Why don't you go back to the garage/person that you purchased the vehicle from? Or else stump up the £220 + VAT and buy a legal copy of the disk.
As for your second point tried it already and they don't have the disk but did advise me it would be easy to hold of them. This is obviously not the case. Hence this post.
