ADSL (Tiscali) Wireless Router recommendations?

Options
Hi

I have recently connected to Tiscali, and realised that my old (well 4 month old) Belkin router that I used with NTL wasn't compatible  , it being cable not ADSL. I rated that modem, and Belkin, being 100% reliable, and tech support free and helpful when I messed up.....

So, I need to buy a new ADSL router. Tiscali do one for £60, and the NetGear, D-Link and Belkin ones all seem similar price (all being 802.11g). Just browsing the PC World site and they have an online deal for this:

LINKSYS WGKPC354G WIRELESS 54MBPS MODEM ROUTER AND LAPTOP CARD

# Linksys WGKPC354G
# 54Mbps Modem Router & Laptop Card
# ADSL Connection for BT Customers
# Transfers Data Speeds Up to 54Mbps*
# Wirelessly enable you Laptop!
# Enjoy Wireless Freedom!
# Wirelessly Share, Internet, Files & More
# Backward compatible with 802.11b
# 1 Year Manufacturers Warranty
# Freephone Support

Web price is £39.99 plus £4.99 delivery, as opposed to £80 in store!!

Is this a good make, is it compatible, and does it have most of what i'll need in a router?

Thanks

Yes, I'd definitely recommend Linksys & you can't beat that price. Make sure you have all the Tiscali settings you need as you won't be able to just 'shove in the disk' & set it up, but I've found Linksys tech help to be very good if there is a problem. If you use the wireless card for a laptop, there's also a simple 'one-button' set-up procedure to get connected.

I have a different Linksys model, and its proved to be very reliable. The instructions that came with it (a few years ago now), were good and easy to follow. A friend that had problems setting his router up, had good experiencs of their uk support.

Linksys are part of Cisco, and are well known in the IT industry.

    Thanks. :T
Just ordered it - and it's only for collection, which saves me £4.99 as the store is only a couple of miles away - so theres a wireless router for £40!!
I'll feedback on how good it is, but could be a bargain recommendation for and ADSL router.
