Unpaid Maternity leave- entitled to income support?

I have just started working at a company as an accounts assistant with a salary of 14750. I live with my partner who earns 16000 per year, as I have not worked the qualifying 26weeks of the *test 66 weeks* period, I am not entitled to Maternity Allowance so whilst taking 3 months unpaid maternity leave...will I be entitled to income support as I am employed but taking a break? obviously I cant claim Jobseekers allowance as I am not looking for Job but it tells you no where what you CAN claim in my situation.

You can't claim income support - your partner's income is too high.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

How far along in your pregnancy are you? I started a job at 5 weeks and worked up until 36 weeks, so qualified for MA. You don't even have to have had the same job for the 26 weeks.0
