Hi, has anyone done any free work experience after leaving uni, with a view to boosting up a CV & hopefully gaining employment?
Would someone doing this be eligible for any benefits at all? Will it make a person ineligible for job seekers allowance?

no you should be able to do voluntary work as long as you are still actively seeking and avaliable for permanent work0

My daughter was able to continue her voluntary work when she was on JSA, but she had to declare it. I think she was told that if a job came up that clashed with her volunteering, she would have to take the job and give one week notice to her voluntary work.
As it happened, she managed to get employment that allows her to continue volunteering.0
