I usually have a rough idea of what we are eating during the week but this week and next week we have certainly had a meal planner up on the fridge as trying to use up freezer stuff and fridge stuff and some of the tins since we are moving house next week. At least we have an idea what we are eating for Saturday, Sunday, Monday and no doubt a takeaway on tuesday and wednesday when we move,.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

My mealplan for last week went totally out of the window within 24 hours
- I've got a shorter than usual week this week so I jut might stick to the plan.
I've got (as previously, freezer stuff is in blue):
Friday - HM cherry tomato, goats cheese and pesto pizza (very  if I do say so myself)
Saturday - probably chicken and leek pie with garlicky greens (although it might be chicken and leek pie filling with pasta as it's pouring and I don't fancy heading out in this to buy pastry, or butter to make my own)
Sunday - chicken, chorizo sausage and prawn jambalaya
Monday - chicken and spicy bean burritos (tortilla wraps)
Tuesday - Spanish sausage casserole
Wednesday - sausage and veg fritatta
Thursday to Monday - my DM is coming to stay, then I'm going to hers for a few days, so who knows?
I'll be making a carrot cake at some point as the veg drawer in my fridge is currently full to overflowing with carrots. Not that I mind an excuse to make cake, obviously.
Have a nice week, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
I have just checked my fridge and I have some tomatoes that will need using and some spring greens that i've just 'tidied up', so I must use these this week!
Monday - vegetable stirfry with rice (using spring greens)
Tuesday - chickpeas with tomatoes and spinach with sundried tomato bread
Wednesday - sausages with polenta chips and green beans
Thursday - battered fish with chips and peas
Friday - stuffed pepper with polenta chips
Saturday - [STRIKE]chicken laksa[/STRIKE] fish and chipsThought it was about time I tested the fish and chip shop as have been here 18 months now. Yum!
Sunday - [STRIKE]ham and leek cannelloni[/STRIKE] chicken fajitas - I have everything in for these
Have already had to switch meals for Tuesday/Wednesday as just noticed my tomatoes are very over ripe so i'm going to make the chickpea meal tomorrow ready for Tuesday and freeze the rest as I don't think the tomatoes will wait until Tuesday uncooked!Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100
