C1 same as the Aygo apart from a few body styling bits. My OH got an 06 and has since passed it on to my youngest daughter and got herself a new one. Cheaper than the Aygo/107

Great little car to drive, nippy, incredibly spacious inside, economical, £30 a year RFL, low insurance. But go for the 5 door instead of the 3 door.

Although not much of a boot

I've just changed my mini as I found it terrible to handle in the snowy weather and the potholed roads we were left with made it feel like I was driving off road. I loved the look of it but I'm glad it was only our second car or I wouldn't have kept it 18 months, it would have gone a lot sooner.
I don't know about the aygo, is that the one that has a citroen and peugeot equivalent?
You'll be able to get a lot newer car if you don't choose the mini but, you pays your money you take your chance, the mini will always be worth more if looked after.
