Looks like a tarder working from home.
If you know nothing about Rovers then it's not the car for you.

However, if you had some knowledge and was after a new ish car fir under £1000 then it'd be a decent buy.

It was a short-lived plan to save Rover. It didn't work.

Built in India, the CityRover (it's trendified name) was a version of the Tata Indicar, a pretty basic car-for-the-masses. The CityRover had some extra creature comforts, but it doesn't compare favourably in terms of ride quality, refinement, comfort or general reliability to its European contemporaries. Simple enough mechanicals though, so as harveybobbies suggests not a bad car for someone who doesn't mind lifting the bonnet from time to time.

Punto's are great fun. I had a few of them. One was an !!!!!! of a thing, but the rest were fine!

i beleive parts can be hard to source and expensive when you do.

i personally wouldn't even consider it.

If you get a Punto for £1k it will probably have to be a MK1, MK2 Puntos at £1k will be sheds. If you do go for MK2 check the head gasket and that the power steering works perfectly.

There is a reason it is cheap - its crap!

Through work i have to occasionally source parts for these and i can tell you they are rarely cheap and often difficult to get hold off. I'd leave well alone.
