Think you add everyone to the BCC: box (not CC box) and not the To: box?
Have a quick check by sending yourself something.0 -
Put everyone's details into bcc (blind CC) and in the 'to' box put your own e-add.
That way only your e-add will be shown on the list of recipients, and everyone else's addresses will be invisible.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
I only have the option for CC there is no BCC?0

Ouch. That would be a very BIG mistake. I would take you to the ICO if I would be one of the recipients...

Edit: This is a serious issue and your "lol" is very misplaced here. Since you have a business and save personal data about your customers you must have appointed a "Data Controller" and registered with the ICO. Have a read here...

I've changed it - but I did add 'think' and 'check'.
I hope you haven't sent anything yet: If you have sorry.0 -
You have their consent to mass mail them? Whatever you do don't *assume* consent, you could find your ISP pulling the plug if you hit just a couple of complaints for spamming.0

Is that Windows mail as in the client software, or Windows Live mail as in the web based e-mail?
Either way, you'll find that Microsoft won't provide the ability for mass mail bombing, and your ISP will have measures in place to stop that sort of thing as well if they think that's what you are doing.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
If it is windows live mail, you click on 'to' and scroll down, you will see 'to' 'cc' and 'bcc'I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

OP if you're referring to Microsoft office Outlook as your email client (programme) then on you message you need to click options on the top banner and on the second "module" in it has a "Show Bcc" button. The "Bcc" field will then appear under the "Cc" field which is in turn under the "To" field.0

One thing you should check, and I have no idea how many people you want to email, but my ISP allows me to send to 50 people at a time with a maximum of 1,000 per day. Most will happily tell you your limits.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
