Now THAT is a wedding dress
  • I'd post a message on facebook on the day before your wedding, saying, if you are coming tomorrow, thank you so much but please don't share our photos on here, Id prefer to do that myself. or something to that affect.

If they are FB addicts they will surely read it.
It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

I was wondering the same thing, I have VERY strict privacy on my facebook, but I doubt my friends have the same. I think I will post a message the day before saying if they are uploading photos please can they restrict privacy on the album, the thing is I have a lot of friends that think it's a competition to get friends on facebook even if they don't know them - it's a tough one

A polite request in your invite should do the trick!

I hate video so asked no one to bring video cameras to my wedding, I was paying for their day out and slap up meal so they all respected this (except one) but I included in my speach that if anyone has made a video I dont want to ever see it. everyone in the room understood from the invites then heard the groom say this, glared at the distant relative with the video camera I also expect they would socially beast the perpertrator should they have shared the video anyway ..... several years later, the video hasn't reared its head ......

Ask and you shall receive .......

Funnily enough I was only thinking about this yesterday!

I hate pics of me so would not be happy with people putting up pics of me and then tagging them so that everyone on my list can see them and everyone on their list can see them.

I'll ask that nobody puts them up without showing me first, but if they ignore that I'd just untag myself.

I didn't think about this either. My pics will prob be up the next day anyway knowing me :p

When we had our first baby my mum came into the hospital (when we already said we didn't want anyone there, she turned up unannounced whilst i was staggering to the shower!) and took loads of pics. She then said she would wait until i posted mine.

So i log onto fb to post my pics and guess what?! She already has MY baby as her profile pic with an album. And all her friends commenting saying how much my baby looks like her:eek:
