Its definately reasonably to ask friends not to post images of you and your day online. I love facebook, i think its a great way to keep in the loop but its getting more and more public and harder to keep your information to yourself and friends. I found a decent solution with this site http://www.reclaimprivacy.org/ It checks to see how secure your facebook account is and tells you what to do to fix it. Might help you to keep your day a bit more private when if you decide to post your pics.

Blimey - I feel bad now for uploading photos...!!
To be honest, I do keep my privacy settings quite strict, so they aren't available for everyone to see - but I like to share the photos with the people I care about.
If someone asked me not to put them on FB, I would respect their wishes, but otherwise, I just think it's nice to see different perspectives of peoples' days.
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

I have to be honest and say that this all seems a bit 1984, maybe its because I'm so laid back I'm not bothered about sharing information online. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing the candid snaps my friends take, they're probably going to be a much more honest representation of our wedding day than the boring posed photographs!!

I went to one of my best friends weddings last week and I asked her first if she wanted my pictures uploading on FB or just emailing to her. She was quite happy for them to be uploaded but I would always ask before putting any up xxx

Just think if you stop them posting the world will miss out on the chance to share your special day.

I would like people to ask first, especially if they were on a public page, but not enough to 'ask' them in any formal way. However quite likely to put pictures on my twitter account on the day (even though OH said I wasn't allowed :D )
