Electrical Quote

Hi, first visit to this board!

I've had a quote for some electrical work:

Resiting 4 sockets
Converting 4 single - dual sockets
Wiring 4 double surge protected sockets
Wiring 5 Standard sockets
Sorting out a minor lighting circuit

= £465

Does this seem reasonable? Seems pretty fair to me, but could only find one electrician in the whole area who could come out to quote so would just like to check!

I'm in N Wales by the way.

It's not unreasonable. In south east sparkies call even £50 per socket after Part P...

I personally think it is quite a bit but then again I would do it myself!
May want to try getting other quotes tell people you were quoted £375 for the work see if they will match that! Maybe buy the materials yourself from eBay? or B&Q? that may help?

I've called numerous electricians in N wales but all have been fully booked and unable to come and quote. I only managed to pick up these guys as I happened to catch the owner just as he got back from holiday...
