The thought of an extra £1000+ disposable income each month SHOULD be enough to keep me on track but it's actually this site and (mainly) the posters on the forums that inspire me the most.

I've now received written confirmation from all eight of my creditors that the balance on the account is zero and they've been closed. It's been a long journey and it feels SO GOOD to have finally reached the end.

congraulations madison!!!! I am nearly there too!! only 3 more to go!!! six years have flown in so for everyone else dont despair!! I was even able to reduce my monthly payments!! Whoo hoo!

Well done. It's inspirational to know that someone has reached the end. I'm a newbie - 6 months in and another 6 years to go.
But going DMP route was best thing I ever did

another 14 months for me, been on since 2007, original date was 2018. I hate it, it's so frustrating and driving me mad but I know im getting there. Well done on clearing your debt!
